Brandseal uses the employee data from Notion to create a branded signature for each employee, which then can be manually synced to their email client (Gmail, Outlook, etc.).

  1. As an Admin: You can sync your entire Notion workspace team members to Brandseal. This ensures that when a new employee is added to Notion, their data is automatically added to Brandseal & kept up to date.
  2. As an Employee: You no longer need to design your own signature. Brandseal creates your branded signature with your correct data, which you can then manually add to your email client (Gmail, Outlook, etc.).
How to connect Notion + Brandseal for Admins

To enable company-wide synchronization, a Notion workspace Admin must authorize Brandseal using OAuth.

  1. Log in to your Brandseal admin account.
  2. Make sure you have selected as the email signatures sync method the "Manually" option in the overview tab.

  4. Then, click on "Integrations" in the menu at the top left of the dashboard.

  6. Next, click to connect your Notion account.

  8. Important: You need to be a Notion "Workspace Owner" to connect your Notion account to Brandseal. If you are not an Workspace Owner, invite them to your Brandseal account to enable the integration.

  10. If you are a Workspace Owner, click on the "Connect" button and you will be redirected to the Notion authorization page. You need to select the Notion Workspace you want to connect to Brandseal. Note: You don't need to select a specific page or database, Brandseal just needs access to your workspace to import the employee data, and you see this request to choose a page or database because that's required by Notion.

  14. Once connected, you can start syncing your Notion workspace members data.

  16. When the sync is complete, you will see a message saying "Notion data imported successfully." and you will see a list of all the employees that will be imported into your Brandseal account.

  18. Check if you would like Brandseal to sync the data daily. If you enable daily sync, Brandseal performs a full sync every 24 hours.

  20. You are all set! Now, you can go and create your branded signature templates.
Additional information
  • Permissions: Brandseal only reads directory data (name, email, avatar) from your Notion workspace. We never access the content of your Notion pages or databases.
  • Sync frequency: If you enable daily sync, Brandseal performs a full sync every 24 hours.
  • Data sync: Once synced, employee data (name, email, avatar) is automatically updated from Notion. Brandseal generates updated signature templates that employees can use to maintain brand consistency across your organization.
